Whilst my aim is to change how the UKs home improvement sector currently operates, my other passion is to bring all the good, honest and reliable tradespeople together, allowing us to create our own community of recognised quality tradespeople.
I believe by creating our own community that will share the same passion and vision to become a household name that will be seen and recognized as a quality brand is the best thing we could do to help ourselves and change our industry.
This community will be different as there will be no monthly or yearly subscription fees to pay, no middleman or fat cats, as we will be in charge of our own destiny.
My reason for this is that I believe the tradespeople are seen as cash cows as the online directories and federations just take, take, take and don’t really give anything back in return. In fact if the truth be known their financial business models only add to our problems.
Nobody seems to address the real issues in our industry and that is simply because they don’t understand the problems the tradespeople encounter on a daily basis and that’s why I decided to do something about it.
Whilst the majority of tradespeople are good at their job the problem is they lack help, support, guidance, motivation, inspiration and education for what needs to be done in their business but more importantly WHY.
It is clear and evident from the statistics I’ve provided that there are issues in our industry. I’m currently working on an app that is designed to provide the tradespeople with tools for them to achieve their full potential in business to increase their chances of success, creating a better life for themselves and their family.
I will be focusing on providing the tradespeople with help, support, guidance, motivation, inspiration and education for what needs to be done in their business but more importantly why.
